What’s cute and sweet and comes on a stick?
Cake pops!
Usually cake pops are fun bites created by mixing crumbled cake with frosting, rolling them into shapes and dipping them in candy melts. Making the all the more appealing each little “pop” can be whimsically decorated making them too pretty to eat – almost.
We really wanted in on this craze. These pops are to cute to be ignored, and since our chocolate shop doesn’t make cake, we decided to make our own “no Bake” versions of these tasty creations. Really, who can pass up a small treat on a stick?
We made three of our favorite filling. We chilled the filling then rolled them into balls and dipped them in our premium milk chocolate.
Here’s what’s inside each:
Our first filling is a peanut butter, caramel and pretzel filling. The next no bake pop is caramel and graham crackers and last, but not least, a peanut butter and Oreo cookie pop.
We can’t decide which one is our favorite.
So when shopping for our no bake version of the cake pop, don’t limit yourself on just one. Try them all and let us know what your favorite is!

Fall in Florida.. We sometimes wish it was sweater weather…. since it’s not (that won’t happen until winter) we attempt to do things that make us feel like it’s fall.
This week we tried to get into the spirit of fall by making chocolate and caramel apples. Since caramel apples are an essential part of fall, we decided to take a break from our daily chocolate making duties and make chocolate caramel apples.
We dipped large granny smith apples in our creamy caramel, then dipped them in milk chocolate. Then we decided to try our hand a decorating them for fall. We think they came out great.
Here’s the apples of our labor..

We were recently asked by TJ from Real Fitness a Cross Fit Gym in Naples to create a chocolate creation for his member appreciation day celebrating the fitness center’s second anniversary. He wanted us to create his business logo in chocolate to wow his clients as they walked in.
We wanted it to be big and we wanted the X to stand upright. We figured that would provide the greatest impact.
The first thing we did was make an outline of the X in metal which really looked like a giant cookie cutter. We then filled the form with our dark chocolate.
The next part of the project was the blue swoosh. We decided to make the blue swoosh out of sugar. In order to accomplish this part, we drew the swish on a large piece of paper, then cover the paper with a grease parchment paper.
We tacked the paper down to make it stable then free hand poured out melted sugar over our hand drawn swoosh.
Once these two pieces were completed we created a base of chocolate for the X. With the chocolate melted, we placed our chocolate X in the middle waited for it to cool.
We were now ready to transport our chocolate show to the Real Fitness gym. We secured the chocolate piece and kept our fingers crossed the sugar would not break in transit.
We managed to make it to the gym without incident. Once there we placed the blue sugar on the X.
The piece looked great as the clients walked it.
As we left the gym, we could only wonder.. how long until someone couldn’t resist temptation and took a chunk with them?????

Ever since hearing about the
Triple Double Oreo cookie in May,
I have been looking forward to getting one in my hands to dip in chocolate.
While shopping today I picked up a pack to satisfy my curiosity.
The Triple Double Oreo combines two layers of Oreo creme,
one chocolate and one original, with three layers of crunchy,
chocolaty Oreo cookies, the sweet treat is now available in stores nationwide,
at a suggested retail price of $4.19 per package.
I was amazed how much bigger this Oreo was compared to the regular Oreo.
Since this Oreo has 3 layers of the crunchy cookies, it stand much taller
than both the regular and double stuffed Oreos. Here is a regular Oreo and the Triple Double Oreo dipped in chocolate.
The suggest serving size is one cookie, and when it is dipped in chocolate that is about all you will need. This decedent chocolate treat is sure to please.
