Here are important details about our Chocolate Shipping Policies and helpful recommendations about Ice Packs and delivery choices that will help ensure your order arrives in perfect condition.

Summer Shipping

We strongly suggest choosing the new "Hold for Pickup" option with USPS for all shipments dispatched during the May to October period.

The "Hold For Pickup" service provides you with the convenience of picking up shipments on your availability, with an assurance that your shipment are in a secure and safe environment.

  • Your chocolates spend less time in the delivery truck and are not left out in the elements. This really helps keep you chocolates from melting.
  • Your chocolates will be held at your local Post Office and not left at your door.
  • You will be notified by the Post Office when your chocolates arrive.

Please do choose this service under "Special Requests" while checking out. For warmer climates, we may contact you and request that you use this service.

Ice Packs

We also suggest adding Ice Packs to your chocolate orders from mid-April until October. Search our store for "Ice Pack" and add them to your Shopping Cart.

Shipping Options

Olde Naples Chocolate offers Standard Shipping with Priority Mail (2-3 days) and Expedited Shipping using Express Mail (Overnight). However, please note that we cannot guarantee that your product will arrive exactly in that time frame.

All standard shipping is shipped with the USPS from Florida. Please make sure that you include your PO Box number to avoid shipping delays.

All chocolate orders, no matter what time of year they are placed, are NOT GUARANTEED to arrive in perfect condition, i.e. melted. Please keep this in mind when selecting your shipping method. We DO NOT give refunds for melted chocolate.

  • We suggest all orders placed from April to October be shipped using Expedited Shipping.
  • All orders placed between May and October will be shipped with an Ice Pack.
  • Orders are generally processed for shipment within 2 business days, excluding weekends. By choosing Expedited Shipping will not increase the speed in which your item are shipped.
  • We want your chocolate to arrive in beautiful condition and do not like to risk it sitting overnight in a truck or warehouse on its way to your doorstep. Therefore, orders received AFTER 12:00 pm noon EST on Wednesdays will ship the following MONDAY.
  • We do not ship on Friday, and cannot guarantee MONDAY deliveries. Someone should be available to receive shipments of chocolate.
  • If possible, have your products sent to a business rather than a home address.
  • Chocolates must be stored in a cool, dry place (less than 72 degree F) away from direct sunlight. We are not responsible for any damage to product that results from improper storage.

  • Olde Naples Chocolate is not responsible for packages that are returned as undeliverable. Lost packages or packages damaged by the elements after delivery.
  • If a returned packaged needs to be reshipped, an additional shipping charge will apply.
  • Shipping charges will not be refunded.

Olde Naples Chocolate can hand deliver Chocolate Gifts, Gift Baskets and Chocolate Strawberries around the local Naples, Florida area.
